Such a pleasant welcome on arrival and we were swiftly seated. Drinks arrived quickly (their home-made iced tea highly recommended!) and food not long afterwards. We both decided on classic noodles, chicken for my partner and I selected the shrimp.
The noodles are freshly made on site and were delicately seasoned yet the flavours packed a punch on the palate! Everything on the plate looked, smelled and tasted fresh. Best noodle dishes tasted on our extensive travels so far and Zanoodle have set the bar very high indeed.
The team are very accommodating, quick to sort out allergens and create bespoke dishes from the main menu if you do not like a particular protein-noodle combination as we overheard on the next table.
We did have dessert and if you are feeling experimental I would urge you to try the compote: grass jelly, melon, currants, orange tea and chia seeds. The waiter described it as ‘funky’ and with that intriguing description well I had to give it go! It’s a different taste sensation in every mouthful, mind blowing curious bursts of flavour, palate cleansing, beautiful to look at and at the end you feel quite virtuous with all the healthy currants and chia seeds yet naughty because you’ve eaten a dessert so delicious it cannot possibly be good for you: almost heavenly!
