I’ve been to about 30 SAC Swiss huts and this has been one of the less enjoyable experiences. The location is not great with little reason to be in this valley, the food is sub par (average), there is no hot water or showers, no drinking water (they charge 12.50chf for 1.5L bottle of water) and 3/4 of the hut is run by younger children so the service is sub par. All in all I was disappointed because this was just lower quality than other SAC huts and what I come to expect Service: 2

Beautiful hut in stunning location open both in winter and summer. The wildhorn is a easy summit (no real climbing involved) just 2-3 hours from the hutboffering stunning views over the berneroberland aswell as the whole of Wallis. Truely amazing. Service: 5
