Very good location. Room OK, quiet, but the ceiling is a bit low and above all it could be decorated with more taste. The common room under the eaves is more charming. In February, the reception and the restaurant were closed on Wednesday and Thursday. Jaun is a small village, so when the hotel restaurant is closed there is simply nothing to eat in the evening. No indication of these closing days on the website or in the booking confirmation. We booked a month in advance and were only told 3 days before check-in. To be honest, if we had known, we wouldn't have booked. We tried to talk about it with the co-owner, but she was a bit closed off and kept justifying herself by repeating that we had been informed. Being told 3 days before arrival, when we booked a month in advance, is not really good enough.

We only had a drink on the terrace. We were served by a very polite and friendly lady who was happy to talk to us in English, when she noticed we struggled with German. Great spot to sit down after visiting the waterfall.
