I had a late lunch in this eatery a Thursday mid August of 2026 after an unsuccessful visit to the Gemmi pass to shoot bearded vultures The place is located in a road crossing in Susten with ample parking space but rather far from the forest border. It appears to be popular with locals so if you want to learn the local patois, spend some hours on their nice terrace listening to the locals. The menu is clearly meat oriented. I ordered rösti with sausage and onions accompanied by a Humpe which is the local name for a pint of beer. The home made sausage was excellent but you had to search for the scarce rösti covered by a thick layer of onions in sauce which was not really what I had expected. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
