I stopped by for a quick lunch and was really impressed. They offer three different menus to choose from, including a solid vegetarian option. The place was packed, which is always a good sign - and the food quality definitely lived up to the crowd! It has a bit of a "take-away" feel, but it’s perfectly fine for dining in if you’re on the go. Price-wise, it’s on the higher side for a quick lunch, but that might just be the regional standard compared to what I'm used to in Basel. However, I didn't mind paying around 20 CHF because the quality was genuinely good. Also, the portion size was spot on: I felt satisfied without that "overeaten" feeling, but I certainly wasn't starving afterward either. Just a heads-up: it’s not the place for a romantic date or a fancy dinner, but for a high-quality mid-day meal, it’s excellent. Highly recommended! Wai Thai has been a staple for our household since the lovely owner who is from Thailand moved to Meggen. We often come to eat in or even take-away. What I recommend here is the Pad Thai, the Satay, the green curry and the Sweet and Sour! The food is authentic, flavorful and just yummy! The staff here are all super friendly, always super helpful and kind. They care about you and often try to make conversation. Usually it’s quite quiet so it’s nice to have a conversation and sit outside in summer. Price per person: CHF 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Veggie options available
