This is a nice small winery in a very pleasant setting. Five different wines are offered and the service was attentive and informative. My wife chose the Grk and loved it. She normally favours dry Sauvignon Blancs and the Grk complemented this inclination. It’s apparently a wine that’s unique to the area. While it’s described as slightly bitter, she didn’t find this to be the case. It’s a bright, refreshing, and cleansing, tasting experience. Given the limited production of Grz wines, if you like dry wines then you’re encouraged to indulge when in this area as they’re hard to find elsewhere. I prefer full-bodied reds and so while the Plavac on offer was not robust I found it to be a nice dry red wine.

Cash only! We really liked the Girk wine (1st of 4), but unfortunately it went downhill from there for our taste. Our waiter was super nice and the cheese platter suited the wines well. We were a fan of their terrace and the view was breathtaking, we spent several hours there. We were there in October - the rightmost table (high chairs) has direct sunlight for the longest time in the afternoon if you're looking for that.

We had a wonderful afternoon wine tasting at Vitis Winery! We tried four wines and shared the Sweet Korcula and Lumbarda snacks, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was an easy 10 minute walk from the water taxi drop off and absolutely worth the visit!
