Cordialità e disponibilità sono lo specchio di questa struttura. Agnese e Filippo ottimi padroni di casa. Struttura super pet friendly. Ci hanno spostati in camera con portafinestra sul giardino per far girare liberamente il cane. Bella piscina. Colazione abbondante. Una nota di merito anche alla ragazza basca che lavora con loro. Simpaticissima!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Godenano. The location, rooms, and service were all spectacular. The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly and go out of their way to provide great service and the location is a short walk or drive to the city center, Castellina in Chianti. Plus, Bianca the cat is a great host. Service: 5

Very beautiful farmhouse surrounded by greenery. I'll start by saying that the internet and the various booking platforms don't do it justice at all. The experience begins at the moment of arrival where Lorenzo (in our case) welcomes you in a super warm way and with all the kindness and helpfulness that exists on the face of the earth. Furthermore, the room and surrounding spaces (terrace, breakfast area, swimming pool) are illustrated. The rooms are clean and equipped with essential comforts such as a hairdryer and air conditioning (in ours there was a small fault in the TV antenna but, let's face it, who cares about TV in a place like this). Breakfast is varied and good: you can choose between sweet or savory and eat it on the splendid terrace (where they also serve a light lunch if you want). The structure is also equipped with a free garage for those who always wish to keep their car indoors. The gate and the entrance door are equipped with an automatic opening that allows you to return at any time of the evening. Price in line with what the structure offers. If I have to find a "negative point" it is the completely absent soundproofing of the rooms. The doors do not isolate noise (and that's fine! You just need to respect some simple rules of coexistence which, especially for Italians, are optional) and, in our specific case, the floor of the room above was quite creaky and noisy ( I think there were some children chasing each other and maybe even beating each other over hearing the noises). However, it was an extremely pleasant stay, so much so that we had requested the possibility of staying an extra night. Last thing not to be overlooked, if you like walking, the center of Castellina can be easily reached on foot with a walk of around 12-15 minutes. We will definitely be back because they deserve it!!
