If youāre looking for a great breakfast in Interlaken Switzerland, Velo Cafe is an absolute must. The space has such a cool, relaxed energy, filled with vintage bike details, exposed stone, soft leather seating, and lush green plants. It immediately feels welcoming, making it the kind of spot where you just want to take your time and ease into the morning. The food completely lived up to the atmosphere, especially the pancakes. They arrived fresh and fluffy, dusted with powdered sugar, topped with whipped cream, mint, and fresh berries, with rich maple syrup and berry compote served on the side. Every bite was hit-the-spot good. Their pastry display is just as tempting, packed with fresh blueberry muffins, fudgy brownies, mini cheesecakes, and thick slices of carrot cake. Whether youāre stopping in for a sit-down meal or grabbing a quick coffee and treat before heading into the mountains, this place is well worth a visit.
