Ottimi vini da Virmond. Tutt il centro Richti è una scoperta gourmet. Virmond (francese), Sahar (indiano), Zapote (messicano), La Esquina (spagnolo), Schokolato (italiano, bar). Tutte scelte molto valide. BRAVI!!

We stumbled upon Virmond on our way to Glattzentrum, and have been back many times since. It's a very cosy, stylish, open plan restaurant decorated with lots of wine bottles and other paraphernalia. We were greeted by a very friendly French sommelier who gave us various excellent recommendations throughout dinner, and was very welcoming even to our massive dog. The concept is that you can have a different wine for each course, hence the name Tasting Room. A couple of the wines were so good that we ended up sticking with them. The food was very fresh and tasty with interesting combinations such as pumpkin ravioli, and we ended up staying til midnight as we were having such a lovely time. We had a great dinner here, and I could imagine their wine tasting events would also be amazing as they have a huge choice of high-class wines. The Richti area in Wallisellen is getting very trendy and, although I hope this means more business for Virmond, I would prefer it to stay our little secret place.
