It was our 1st trip to Dubrovnik (Croatia), to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary quietly with the same feel as we 1st fell in love with love at 1st sight 61 years ago! We decided to celebrate in an informal manner, very relaxed, and very casual manner, as when we fell in love at first sight 61 years ago, when my wife was 12 and I was 14 years old! Renu & her team lead by Ritik & others made it very special with their outstanding hospitality & services in addition to suggesting the best dishes of our choice for a Teppanyaki dinner night to celebrate our special day! We went for the teppanyaki menu. Service was very friendly and the chef was talented. The food is well prepared however the main course and dessert are not Japanese. Appetizer was sushi/nigiri followed by gyoza. Scallops were delicious but served in garlic/chive butter and the main was grilled meat of choice with sauteed vegetables. Dessert was cheesecake. It was all tasty but not very Japanese. Steak and fish were well cooked but not seasoned. I would not be so picky but with a bottle of wine this restaurant is 150€ per head and so I feel like there is better out there for that price. 3.5 stars.
