Very friendly and welcoming staff. Menu too short: you can only choose between 5 first courses and 7 second courses. We took an appetizer (U 'tuppa puttusu) for two which should have cost €22 but they charged a good 26 euros for it. Of course, they may have been local products, but really small portions and an extremely exaggerated price for a bit of chickpeas, two other little things! The very tasty and spectacular grilled meat is served on a piping hot plate. The baked potatoes (€5.00) looked like they were reheated from lunch. The chicken (puddastradi chicken with potatoes, provola and bacon) is a slightly dry chicken breast with freshly cooked potatoes. The macaroni with ragù was good (€11.00), while the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms (€13.00) were not good and although it was declared that the mushrooms were frozen, the dish was not tasty and it was not possible to eat it. The drinks are also expensive: 1 liter coke 5 euros! For having taken one dish each, spending €26 each is really an excessive expense. Must try only once in your life! Beautiful place, in the center of Acireale, this is the second time I willingly go to dinner. Impeccable and fast service, table booked, we were seated immediately. Meats of all kinds and appetizers, including tasty and local cured meats. The owner is always kind he went around the tables taking care of all the customers. The restaurant has a small covered porch, then most of the tables are on the street. It's not very convenient to get there by car due to the lack of parking. On the other hand, good cuisine. I decided to have dinner in this restaurant and I admit that I was not satisfied: having eaten under an outdoor gazebo, in the height of summer, we suffered a lot from the heat and there were only two fans aimed exclusively at two tables. Furthermore, when ordering, the waiter who served us insisted that we order all the courses at the same time, even though our thought was to wait between one dish and another. As for the food, the starters were excellent, while the first course chosen was "acceptable"... but we didn't eat pleasantly because throughout the dinner, the waiters ordered us to order something else, proving to be less than courteous and professional.
