Where to start? Giacomo is a very, very, very passionate Chef and kitchen master! His wife, the doctor is an amazing Sous chef, and their daughter is an awesome server! My lovely bride and I took Giacomo's cooking class on 10/19/24. We were the only students so we got 100% attention and were able to ask any and all Q's about ingredients, preparation and methods. In fact, the attached picture is of my wife discussing Oregano Drying with Giacomo. The gnocchi, in the foreground was amazing as were all the other meals. Our takeaway from the class was: 1. be passionate about preparing the meal! it's not just to stuff your face with. 2. Use local ingredients. Use fresh ingredients. Simple is better. 3. Got to pair with good local wine. 4. Enjoy. If you spend any time in Montepulciano, besides wine tasting at vineyards, you must take Giacomo's class! Only downside? I wish we could have had the aprons as proof of our graduation :)

We had a fantastic time with Giacomo & Cristiana for our cooking class. We made two types of pasta and a dessert, all shared and paired with local organic wines. All the ingredients were organic and fresh, and Giacomo answered questions and showed us his true passion for food and expertise in the kitchen. After the class, Giacomo sends pictures from the class and the recipes to everyone to recreate at home. The group was small (8 participants) creating an intimate learning environment and generating a lot of good discussion and camaraderie. There are a lot of options for food tours and cooking classes in Tuscany. Giacomo's is excellent. Do yourself a favor and sign up for this class! Thanks Giacomo and Christiana

Cannot recommend taking a class with Giacomo enough!! This was one of my husband and I's favorite memories from our trip to Italy. We learned so much, not only about making pasta and Italian dishes, but also about the source and quality of the ingredients. We share a lot of the same values as Giacomo and his family in terms of finding local, healthy ingredients and gardening, so it was super cool learning recipes and techniques from him! And it was so special getting to learn his grandmother's recipes! The recipes were simple and not too difficult and the dishes we made were easily the best food we had while we were in Italy. We would absolutely go back if we get the chance :)
