Una splendida scoperta. Insieme a Flavio Oreglio ho presentato alcuni libri scritti da me sul cabaret. Sono stato trattato benissimo. I miei bimbi hanno mangiato alla grande e sono stato letteralmente accolto dalle persone presenti. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci. Mi piacerebbe avere copia di una foto del locale negli anni Settanta con tutti gli iscritti al sindacato in giacca e cravatta. Bellissima! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Nice place that I've been going to all my life (even when it was still called Twiggy). The food is good, the beers on tap are excellent and the bar allows you to consume Premium Gin Tonic such as Nordés from Galicia... a real treat! I would have given 5 stars for everything if it weren't for the fact that the owners of the place, out of pure convenience and opportunism (the organizer of Languages Nights "brings" dozens and dozens of consumers to him every Tuesday) obviously took the latter's side when Last June 4th, I attempted unsuccessfully to civilly resolve my disagreements with him, receiving shouts, insults and blasphemies in return. On Tuesday 18 June I "dared" to ask one of the bartenders of the place if it was equipped with cameras so I could sue the organizer of the LNs for the insults I had suffered and the owner's partner approached the Spanish-speaking table, at which I was sitting in the company of two friends talking about the unpleasant event of the previous week, insulting me in turn, stating that I am telling lies (he obviously used less polite terms...) and that I shouldn't allow myself to ask certain questions to his barmaids. I believe I have the sacrosanct right to ask any question I want, as long as I do it politely, as I did with the aforementioned bartender. And until proven otherwise, Italy is still a democracy and I, with my friends, have the right to say what I want and where I want, as long as I remain within the framework of respect and education. Furthermore, she said the falsehood when she stated in front of my friends that she had been present at the whole scene of the "argument" with the organizer of the LNs. Lie: she didn't witness the initial part, in which I tried to make civil peace with him, and intervened to stop us, moreover only taking it out on me, only after several minutes. At the end of the evening on June 18th the barmaid who called me a fake asked us all to leave the TuMiTurbi and let slip this sentence towards her colleague: "I won't let this one in here anymore".... .. In the Language Nights of the following Tuesdays, even worse happened (and this is why I changed my review from 4 to 1 star): the owner of the place showed up every evening, the partner of the aforementioned barmaid, and 3 times he refused to accept my money and/or my debit card which I wanted to use to simply buy water. This act is a clear violation of article 187 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety, as none of the following conditions existed, for which the owner of the premises could have prevented me from remaining in the premises and consuming, namely: 1) I was not armed; 2) I wasn't drunk; 3) I was not in possession of drugs; 4) I am not a minor. The non-existence of these 4 conditions was verified each time by the Police and Carabinieri, who intervened in these situations, called 112 by me and/or the owner of the place. I have therefore reported these serious events to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Varese so that justice can be done as soon as possible, imposing on TuMiTurbi the fine provided for by the aforementioned article 187 of the TULPS (from 500 to 3000 Euros). NOTICE TO THE LOCAL OWNER: do not try to remove this review again as he has already done several times with my previous 4 star review, which he did not like. I remind him for the umpteenth time that in Italy we are in a democracy and here I can say what I want as long as I do it with respect, as I am doing. Please avoid it and therefore save me the trouble of republishing the review several times, modifying it, until Google (for the second time) makes me win the appeal, preventing it from deleting the review forever. Also because, since it is a reiteration of the offence, I will immediately file a second complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office for a second civil offence: the censure that he tried to make because he knows very well that he is in the wrong!
