Captivating Culinary Journey at Trattoria Del Viandante, Bagolino Dear Trattoria Del Viandante Team, I would like to share my extraordinary experience at your restaurant, undoubtedly ranking among the top 10 culinary adventures of my life. The visit to Bagolino, a small mountain town in the Brescian Alps, was a sensory delight from the very beginning. The town itself breathes tradition, especially with its delightful Bagoss cheese and medieval roots. Nestled in this picturesque setting is Trattoria Del Viandante, led by the talented chef Sara, who not only brings a passion for her cuisine but also an accolade as Italy's best chef. Sara's focus on quality and locality is impressive. The production of cheese, the use of locally sourced meat and vegetables - all of this imparts an authentic touch to the dishes. What particularly struck me was the skillful blend of tradition with a hint of extravagance. My venison stew was a flavor explosion that captured the essence of Christmas, autumn, and winter. The spices, including cinnamon and cloves, were masterfully dosed, while the tender meat and perfectly cooked polenta rounded off the overall experience. Don't get me started with her Pasta ;-) Not only the culinary journey but also the service significantly contributed to this special lunch. The team's personal and familial approach was palpable, without being intrusive.
