Two weeks in Italy, best place we ate at!Travelled all around Italy - Rome, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Venice, Bologna, Milan, Cinque Terre, and more - we ate at many restaurants, from small mom and pop trattorias to 5 start restaurants. This was hands down our favorite place. It's tiny but the husband/wife owners and chefs are simply phenomenal. He explained to us in great detail what every plate was and its history and cultural meaning. The wine (and beer) selection is perfect: underwhelmingly small but every choice is a gem.The two of us ordered different things and then decided to start sampling and every single thing including the desserts was just delightful. This is the kind of place that if it were somewhere in L.A. or NYC would be booked solid for the next 3 months and charge a fortune.I almost didn't write the review to keep our little foodie secret safe but I was just dying to rave about it
