Luka and Neri have created an outdoor organic clubbing experience to compliment The Garden that is very special and quite unique in all my many years of partying. The personality of these two guys is what makes all the difference, I love their crazy no holds barred energy. This was my 4th year and previously there was not even a bar – the only music was via a laptop at the fast food place – oh the Tuna Greek and Caesar salads prepared by the lovely Nada. As I had broken my right ankle in two places just before Christmas one evening I decided my leg needed a rest and planned to pick up a tuna salad at the fast food and then head to Loca Villa my fave bar in Tisno for a nightcap. Around 10pm I got my salad and soon became aware of MUSIC! Joe Colligan a lovely DJ from the UK was doing his stuff on a laptop all very makeshift at the new bar and I started to boogie, next moment and I am invited to dance – ON THE BAR – BEHIND the bar, then on top of the massive fridge ( it is a BIG fridge! ) – it was INSANE – to start maybe just five people, Luka Neri and Joe reckon I got the party started in my neon yellow ‘out’fit by the time I left around 4am there must have been around one hundred all dancing. The rate of change has been breathtaking – within days Joe was set up on top of the fridge, and other DJ’s were joining spontaneously. Strong winds virtually destroyed the makeshift set-up but Luka & Neri were not deterred! I love the NEW SIGN, Well Done Mario. You guys have created something wonderful please don’t ever STOP BEING CRAZY. This is light years away from my experience in the UK – can you imagine suddenly dancing on the long bar at somewhere like Ministry of Sound? – And that you party with no time limit. I love that you have no rules except to enjoy yourself – Love Shack RULES! PS How Burgerellas got the name, thanks for the clarification! Burgerellas Tisno Actually Burgerellas was so named by Jim Stanton of Horse Meat Disco in July 2012 and the name stuck from then onwards Michael Peacock We always used to play music and have had many a good night and day since then even though when we started it was all playing from you tube and then Spotify via Tunnel Bear,,, Joe Colligan has now taken it to the next level djing from on top of the fridge!! The Burgerellas Facebook was started about 2013
