We had a wonderful time with Matej as he walked us through the history of winemaking the region and his family’s significant role as longtime wine producers in the Vipava Valley. It was a delightfully personal experience as he sat with us and enjoyed a glass of wine as he took us through the tasting. His wife Tanja also came by with some incredible food to pair with the excellent wine. This was a highlight of our time in Vipava and our trip to Slovenia as a whole. Our only regret was not taking more Rondic wine home with us. Thank you Matej and Tanja! You are great company and we hope to return someday.

We had a great time at 'The wine house Rondic'. We would hightly recommend it if you are visting the area. Matej was an excellent host and he explained the history of his winery along his family history. His wife Tanja was so welcoming and lovely too.
