We stopped by on a whim for lunch and were blown away! The weather was beautiful and we were able to sit outside. Wine selection was great and we enjoyed the steak tartare, arancini and gnocchi with short rib and horseradish. One of our favorite meals in Croatia! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I and my wife recently enjoyed a wonderful five-night stay in Zadar which included dining out at night in various restaurants - of which the best by far was The Well. The beautiful location in a small park is matched by the quality of the food served and efficiency of friendly service. Among the many highlights enjoyed over a number of visits, lamb from the grill (which you can see being prepared) and the grilled sea bream were particular favourites, preceded by excellent starters and accompanied by a recommended posip wine.
