Fig Leaf is one of the best places in Split to enjoy a magical sunset. The view over the Adriatic is absolutely stunning, creating the perfect backdrop for dinner. We had the Croatian buffet, which offered a variety of local flavors. The standout dish was definitely the seafood stew – hearty, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The risotto, however, was slightly undercooked, and the beef steak was a bit tough, but the overall dining experience was still enjoyable. Service was excellent – attentive, friendly, and welcoming, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. While the food had its ups and downs, the combination of warm service and incredible views makes Fig Leaf a great place to soak in the beauty of Split while sampling Croatian cuisine. Price per person: €50+ Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had breakfast every morning in The Fig Leaf. The massive buffet is so amazing and your choices could have you trying new menu items for the length of your stay. The omelet and crepe stations are definitely 4 star. All good was fresh, cooked to perfection or regionally chosen for those guests wanting to try something new. We appreciated our waitstaff including but not limited to Benz, Stefan, Petra, Andre and Vipul. They were attentive and knew precisely what we wanted always greeting us with a smile! Birol made sure that our dietary needs were met and his attention to detail was noticed by all the guests. Abid and Birol both were flawless in their hospitality a flawless in extending service to everyone that walked in. They are delightful and their greetings made our mornings more special. We do want to give a big special shout out to Kent, the barista. He pulls some of the best cappuccinos and flat whites we have ever tasted. We appreciate how well the Fig Leaf was managed and how well the operation ran to meet the needs and exceed expectations of all the guests. We loved eating outside on the patio not just for the gorgeous views but we enjoyed the sparrows that were out to get a nibble of a croissant. And if you have a chance, try the housemade ginger detox tea that you can find with the juice carafes.... totally worth it! See you next time!
