We had a wonderful experience at Botanic. The ambiance and overall style are elegant and refined, yet the prices remain surprisingly affordable ( a rare combination.) The signature cocktail, Be Botanic, is an absolute masterpiece : beautifully balanced and original. As for the food, I tried the traditional Dalmatian main dish (a kind of ratatouille), and it was exceptionally well executed. Simple in appearance, but rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. I’m not a food critic, just a French traveler who loves good cuisine, but in my opinion, Botanic truly deserves a Michelin star. A fantastic discovery! An incredible experience. We came here as it's the only plant-based restaurant in the city as far as I'm aware. Between the phenomenal service (thanks to Luka), the beautiful setting outside during sunset, and the delicious food and cocktails, we had the best time. My partner and I both said it was one of the best meals of our lives. Despite the luxury-feel of the atmosphere, service and food quality, the prices were very affordable, especially for within the city. This restaurant has given me a definitive reason to come back to Zadar. Hvala! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €45–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Fully plant-based. WOW the servers were so kind, knowledgeable, fast, and considerate. I am blown away by both the service and the food. The Botanist has become my new favorite cocktail. If we are ever back in Zagreb, we will be returning.
