Recommended because of its proximity to the moon and stars. Mix of retirement and rental apartments. Friendly staff, especially reception and waiters. Modest breakfast buffet. Fried bacon and egg dishes can be ordered, each at an additional charge of CHF 7.50. Parking spaces inside and outside can be rented, it's worth it. The housekeeping service obviously loves its noisy devices, such as, in my opinion, completely unnecessary leaf blowers. The huge garden between the building and the outdoor parking spaces is very beautiful and well maintained, so the housekeeping does a good job. Dogs are allowed and welcome, surcharge CHF 20 per day. Nearby activities: Moon and Stars Festival Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great value

Super quiet place, magnificent well-kept park, all the staff are super welcoming, attentive and smiling. The establishment is very well located, a few minutes from the lakeside, and just a little further from the center of Locarno. The room is actually a holiday apartment, so very spacious and comfortable. Varied breakfast, fresh products. Heated swimming pool and various services on site are appreciated. Bus line 4 serves the hotel directly from the train station. Very convenient. Impeccable bedding (firm), no back pain. Thanks for the stay.

My wife and I booked an overnight stay with breakfast at the Tertianum Residenza Al Lido to get to know this senior residence. The complex in the immediate vicinity of Lake Maggiore is a very well-maintained senior residence in combination with holiday apartments with hotel service. The apartments are very clean and functionally furnished, even if there is no WiFi. The breakfast is excellent. Particularly noteworthy are the dark bread and fresh fruit. The employees deserve special praise. Every employee speaks fluent Italian and German and is exceptionally friendly, helpful and competent. The park is very well maintained and we were thrilled by the camellias that bloomed in early January. The overnight stay was a very interesting experience that we will definitely repeat.
