We tried the basic wine tasting here (20 CHF per person). A person who served us the wine was friendly but i wish she could have explained the wine more in details. But, we liked the wine and also it has a beautiful view from the shop.

Being an Aussie wine lover I just had to visit at least one winery in Lavaux during my trip to Montreux. Luckily for me I choose Terres de Lavaux because I was welcomed with open arms.Unfortunately for me I only speak English but this was no problem as the gentleman on staff spoke great English and was only to happy to tell me all about their wines and the region.I opted for the 5 wine tastings and was so impressed I bought 3 bottles to take home. I was also with my 7 yo daughter and she was taken care off with her own tastings. Happy kids, parents that spend money right?I was so impressed with the warm welcome I received at Terres de Lavaux that I highly recommend a visit to anyone in the region.
