There were 3 other tables, with regular customers (so perhaps you sensed greater familiarity). We try to always offer a kind and polite service (as you also specified), without being intrusive and trying to guide the customer in their choice, not knowing their budget for an aperitif and therefore not trying to raise the price. I remember very well that you drank three glasses of Vermentino and not Chardonnay. The cost of a single glass is €6 and I'll explain why. On wine, as on food, we do a lot of research and we want to give the customer something that is of quality for us, so it will be difficult for our glasses to cost less than 5 euros. You have tasted foods made of poor materials, certainly, but artisanal and selected. Also for this reason you will not have supermarket shelf costs (with all due respect for the category). Specifically (with respect to just your two attached photos): - two types of taralli produced weekly by an Apulian company and Indian snacks €3 - Indian Tikki and Samosa €8 - Waffles with lentils and rice with tamarind sauce €3 - A tasting of 4 cheeses (ubriaco al raboso, comtè 18 months, pecorino canestrato, bouche de chevrè) €8 - Lentils, cumin and Iberian chorizo €5 - Cantabrian butter and anchovies €10 (which I assure you is a more than honest cost of butter and anchovies on a menu in a restaurant, bar, wine shop, etc. The total is €55, of which I happily removed €5 from the bill out of pure and simple kindness and niceness to thank you for choosing us. And I assure you that those 5 euros discount for a business today are very important. So I ask you to kindly link the article here that talked about the average cost being €20 because I haven't read it, maybe I'm missing it. The thing that I regret the most is that you didn't express these doubts and complaints at the checkout, because we are used to dealing with people in person, rather than from behind a computer. We would have kindly explained to you everything we have written to you here. Let's hope it's exhaustive. See you soon! LandMore
