I've been to this place three times now, two of which were pretty OK if we completely ignore the uncalled for premium price tag. The third and last (ever!) time though, I went there with my date about half an hour before closing and it was a complete disaster. First, a waiter told us that there were no free tables (which was clearly not true). Then, the manager showed us to a table on the terrace that hadn't been cleared yet and was lacking chairs. When we told him that, he rolled his eyes and showed us inside. Another waiter came with the menu and told us we had to order NOW, so he anxiously waited by the table to hear our order right away. This is probably when we should have left because things got worse from there. When the food came, the portions were disappointingly small and the meat was extremely chewy. After just one bite, the waiter came back and wanted us to pay immediately. Guys, if you make groups of two pay 85.- Francs, be decent!!! If you can't handle people coming in during your opening hours, maybe it's time to consider closing all together. Will never return!!

Absolutely delicious! It has a relaxed feel, but the food was surprisingly tasty! Definitely try the house beer. I had the lamb, which came with spinach, mashed potatoes and garlic bread-- each was a total 10! I would eat there again, even though it doesn't look or feel very "local." Bottom line: the food is downright excellent.

Why was I disappointed? Any steakhouse in a mall in the States would be lackluster, so why should I expect more from a mall steakhouse in Switzerland? Because it's Switzerland. But I should have known when I saw the "Americanized" menu, the folded standing full-color advertisement on the table, the "meh" atmosphere. The food isn't bad, it's just forgettable, the menu and execution thereof are extremely standard. This is a Texas Roadhouse, disguised as an upscale steakhouse - thankfully, minus the peanut shells on the floor. Service was slow and uninspiring. Prices were higher than they should have been, even for Switzerland - maybe it's that "mall premium". Walk down the block a bit further and find a good local joint, or hop on the 8 and go a few stops into town for a real dining experience. This place is not going to impress you, if you're a true foodie.
