Tender Cocktail & Kitchen Club is one of those rare places that instantly pulls you in. The food is outstanding, the menu full of tasty, creative surprises, and the cocktails are right on point. The atmosphere has a warmth and energy that’s hard to describe but easy to feel—somewhere between comfort and excitement. The music selection rounds it out beautifully, always in tune with the moment. Credit goes to Mirza, whose string of creative ventures seems to have been building up to this. With Tender, he’s truly come into his own. Supported by an incredible team in the kitchen and behind the bar, he’s created a place that feels both effortless and intentional. And Tender doesn’t stop at great food and drinks—it has a weekly rhythm all its own apart from daily specials that just hit right day after day. Taco Tuesday is the after-work siesta you didn’t know you needed, Smash Wednesday is a hump day burger fix done just right, Fridays and Saturdays buzz with a vibrant evening crowd, and the Late Breakfast Club on Saturdays is the weekend slow roll you’ll want to make a ritual. It even got me doing something I thought I’d given up on—enjoying an aperitivo in Zagreb. I left feeling like I’d just rediscovered the city.
