Very well attended reopening of Booze 38 Last weekend, a number of former regulars, as well as many curious people and members of friendly motorcycle clubs, made a pilgrimage to the reopened clubhouse of the local TC Booze 38, formerly Waldstatt. The inn is also open to the public and enriches the range of restaurants in the lower village. A look at the newly furnished interior revealed a tavern with excellent craftsmanship and appearance and lots of eye-catchers: from the various gear sculptures and unique lamps to historical pictures of the original house, you can always discover something new. There are even monitors integrated into the bar and the lighting is first class. However, the lovingly furnished restaurant does not come from the tooth fairy: the 11 members - working on a dozen - under the direction of Matthias Rüegg performed around 2,500 hours of drudgery in just a few months and neglected women, children, pets and crocheting during this time . The first gender toilet outside of Zurich is also thanks to ingenuity, creativity and empathy (see photo). The American-inspired music bar is now open from Tuesday to Saturday - run by Jenny Tanner. Veit Fehmer - actuary of the Töffclub founded in 2011 - also pointed out that concerts will take place plus/minus monthly as usual.
