The Keywest restaurant by Lake Zurich was the place to be. You can sit inside, there are plenty of seats, but a few tables are on the pier and that is really very romantic and you have a beautiful view in all directions. We tried prosecco and white wine, both of very good quality. As a starter we had vittelo tonnato and steak tartare with konak. I recommend! Excellent! The fish soup was also excellent. We were extremely satisfied here, the drinks, food and service were Simply The Best.

As much as I like the badi, I dislike the new food spot. And I am not talking about the menu (which is super typical). For whatever reason, you employed a VERY rude and unprofessional guy who keeps doing weird things. 2 weeks ago I POLITELY asked for 1 PACKED ketchup since I was willing to bring the fries closer to the lake and it would have been more convenient, but the guy was very rude, and said that I have to take it from the pump, WHICH WAS EMPTY (and he knew it from another crew member just before I asked him). Well, OK. Today I ordered a ginger beer and a loaded hot dog. They gave me a pager, and I have been patiently waiting. After about 20 minutes the order of my friend arrived before mine, which was a bit strange. Then a friend decided to check with the staff if my order was in the 'process', and then THE SAME KETCHUP GUY started replying in his rude manner something like "you received your order already", but we were waiting for 2 orders. Later, the ketchup guy finally ADMITTED the mistake, and after 24 MINUTES the hot dog was ready. It was not a PRIME TIME, literally 2 orders in the process, and 1 was lost. The one was mine. And the ketchup guy was responsible. And you might say something like 'mistakes happen', and I get it. But the ketchup guy 'did it again' (and I assume that he just did it intentionally). Well, regardless, the whole story is very unprofessional. Someone marked the order as fulfilled in the system while the beeper was still with us, and no one even wondered why we were waiting, why the beeper was there, and the order is 'lost'. Badi — 5 stars The food kiosk — -5 stars. Reply: I am not trying to “dehumanize” anyone. I have no idea what the guy’s name is, but one thing I know for sure: he is very rude for no reason (I asked him very politely and got a strangely rude reply), and it won’t be tolerated since it seems to be a systemic behavior of this worker. P.S. I absolutely don’t need a free ice cream. What I need is a bit of adequate communication with respect to the customers. I also see no reason not to give a packed ketchup if the pump is empty.

Dear Bohdan Thank you for sharing your experience in such detail. Feedback always helps us improve. We are very sorry to hear about the ketchup disaster. Our ketchup system with the pump is normally very userfriendy and helps us reduce plastic and waste. Most people take ketchup directly on their fries or plate. if you wish to take ketchup with you, we also provide small cups in which you can fill the Ketchup in. As far as your Loaded Hot Dog order from yesterday is concerned, you are right that the order was forgotten by the kitchen and we simply wanted to talk to you to ascertain what had gone wrong. As you rightly mention ‘mistakes can happen’ and we made a mistake yesterday. That is why we apologized personally to you and offered a free ice cream for your whole table. We hope you enjoyed the ice cream. In general we like to solve issues or problems on site with communication. We try to find solutions, instead of discussing it online by calling someone “Ketchup Man” in a dehumanizing and disrespectful way. Once again we apologize that we lost your order and would be more than happy to reimburse the 11CHF for the Loaded Hot Dog and have a talk in person. I hope that we can make a new, unbiased impression on your next visit.
