Food & drinks: Cibo di qualità, ma poco abbondante. In un hotel con queste stelle se mangi alla carta, la sera, non puoi trovare la brasaola e la caprese. In un primo piatto da 24 euro ...6 paccheri sono veramente pochi. Ottima la colazione... Ottimo il paesaggio ... Ottimo il personale di sala.... La maitre poco sorridente ed ospitale... . Rooms: 5 Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet, High-tech

Really loved the ambiance, rooms (sea view) and art work displayed. It was clean, roomy, had a balcony, and access to its own beachfront. The sunsets were marvelous. Highly recommend. Service: 5

We stayed at Hotel Stella Maris as a couple for four nights from the 14/07 till the 18/07 with the half board option. Here is a few thoughts that we had during our stay. Pros - Beautiful beach right on the doorstep and lovely gardens throughout. - Clean room. Cons - If you drink a lot of water it can be costly during the stay. The hotel doesn’t provide any free water throughout the day or water fountain, charging €4 for a 1l bottle of water but in the local supermarket in Villasimius (a 5 min drive or 38 min walk) a 1.5l bottle is €0.69. I would have thought there would be a free water tap available at least to reduce plastic? - Water is free at breakfast but you pay for it in the evening which is odd and it is €5 for a 750ml glass bottle. Surely water can be complimentary at dinner too? Small bottles of water are in the mini bar fridge in your room but they are €2.5 each. - The presentation of food was great, but we felt the actual food was average. - We also felt that there was a push on wine sales during dinner? - Communication was very tough many times during our stay, it was noticeable mainly at dinner and it felt that we was avoided by staff due to the language barrier. - The staff was run off their feet while two members in management I believe just observed over the staff instead of joining in to help them. This caused quite a delay at times during breakfast/dinner due to the staff being too busy plus we had 2 occasions where our order had been forgotten about. - No tour of the resort, we had to browse and make our way round ourselves to find out where things were. Although, we had seen others being shown around. - Certain items at breakfast come at an extra cost but we didn’t know which until an older British couple explained this to us, it wasn’t clear on any menu etc. Also the half board option wasn’t really explained. - It’s a great hotel for Italians & Germans but we honestly felt a little out of place and in the future we would try another hotel. Unfortunately I can’t say that we would stay at the hotel again as we wasn’t as impressed as we thought we would be. It may be great to others but this is just how we felt overall about our stay at the hotel. Thank you. Walkability: The walk to Villasimius is 30+ minutes uphill, unless you hire a bike or take a taxi. A taxi is a 5 minute drive into the town and it costs €15 one way. Rooms: 5 Service: 3 Location: 3

We are happy to read you really enjoyed the beach and the garden surrounding our hotel. We appreciate your suggestions for the free tap water, and we are working to give people an alternative to plastic bottles – as for dinner we use glass bottles. Our hotel is not big, so it is very difficult to get lost in our garden. Also, we want our guest to get around and discover the areas by themselves so that they can be amazed by the several art decors in the hotel and the coloured landscapes. We wish you a nice day!More
