We ordered 3 standard coffee. The coffee machine was slowly pouring out the coffee into the cup with a nice crema on the top. The process seemed appealing. My daughter and I I put a single brown sugar stick in our coffee. My wife tasted it first without sugar, and got affected by the bitterness and unpleasant taste of the coffee. She had to add a sugar to keep on drinking. My daughter and I, bothered by the acrid taste, left more than the half of the coffee in the cup. We all agreed that the flavor was not good, similar to a low quality Robusta coffee, aggressive in mouth, without any savory taste: no appealing roasting or mocha, no delightful Arabica notes, such as fruity, floral, citrus or nutty flavors. For USD 6.50 a cup, one could expect a quality coffee. Unfortunately the entire experience remained far below expectations. A warm welcome and an excellent experience at Starbucks at Geneva airport! Like every time when I get back, I stop by Starbucks to buy a souvenir cup. This time, I was hesitating between two models: one at 26.90 CHF (with a reduction of 13.45 CHF) and another at 21.90 CHF (with a reduction of 10.95 CHF). Finally, I fell for both and only paid 24.40 CHF in total, a great deal! I was greeted by two very smiling and welcoming employees. The one who served me, Anaïs R (according to my ticket), had black hair and eyes, and was absolutely adorable. She informed me of the discounts, which allowed me to get more out of my purchase. I also appreciated the possibility of paying in euros, with change given in euros, which is not common in all stores. Despite a little moment of stress while looking for my wallet, Anaïs was kind. Many thanks for this impeccable and warm service. I'm always happy to stop at Starbucks on my travels.
