Best pizza I've had in my life and I've had a lot. Speedy pizza has the hallmark of a hidden gem. It's basically in a gas station. It's very unassuming. The owners are genuinely kind and friendly. We were visiting the valley of the temples. After our visit, we decided to walk a bit in the city till our train. It suddenly started pouring rain (October in Sicily). We had to take shelter and Speedy was just opening and warming up their oven. The owners offered us seats to sit while the rain stops. We honestly felt obliged to order a pizza just because of their kindness. They told us no we can't make a pizza for you now. The oven is not ready but you can stay as long as you want. We said we'd walk around the city then come back to pick up our pizza before our train. We did so then we ate the pizza on the train. What an amazing surprise. Perfect dough, perfect mix of toppings. I hope the owners see this. If they do, I wish them the best of luck and success with their shop and their life. Talentes pizza chefs and amazing people.
