Abbiamo soggiornato presso l’Hotel Sorapiss con un gruppo di 27 persone e l’esperienza è stata davvero molto positiva. La struttura si trova a Misurina, in una posizione incantevole proprio di fronte al lago, con un panorama mozzafiato. Abbiamo scelto questo hotel come base per le nostre giornate sugli sci a Cortina d’Ampezzo, facilmente raggiungibile in circa 20 minuti di auto. Abbiamo usufruito della formula mezza pensione: sia la colazione che la cena sono risultate sempre abbondanti e di ottima qualità. Un ringraziamento speciale va allo staff di sala, sempre gentile, disponibile e molto paziente, soprattutto nel gestire un gruppo numeroso come il nostro. Anche il proprietario si è dimostrato estremamente cordiale e accogliente. Le camere sono pulite, confortevoli e alcune offrono una splendida vista sul lago, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Consiglio vivamente l’Hotel Sorapiss a chi cerca tranquillità, un’ottima accoglienza e un bellissimo paesaggio montano come cornice della propria vacanza. Siamo stati benissimo in questo hotel. La cosa che ci è rimasta più impressa è la gentilezza e professionalità di tutto il personale, fanno tutto con il cuore! Abbiamo fatto una cena nel ristorante dell’hotel che ci è piaciuta molto, e la colazione a buffet che avevamo incluso era ottima! Inoltre la posizione dell’hotel sul Lago di Misurina è speciale e la vista bellissima, è anche comodo per raggiungere Cortina, Dobbiaco e altri posti belli nelle vicinanze. We stayed in this hotel during the Easter holidays, choosing the half board formula at a decidedly convenient price. I would like to start by saying that after the COVID period, my and my family's expectations related to accommodation facilities have dropped significantly due to the rudeness and poor welcome we found on our travels, especially in the important capitals, however in order not to penalize too much the work of people, I have never left a 1 or 2 star review... for this reason, reviewing the Hotel Sorapiss with only 5 stars available is decidedly reductive because if I were to adopt an evaluation criterion that is consistent with that with which I evaluated the other structures, at least 10 would be needed. Let's start first of all with the welcome which for the entire duration of the holiday proved to be impeccable, and we are not just talking about professionalism but about empathy, friendliness, joy and conviviality. The hotel manager has always been present and available for any request, my 5 year old son who is usually reluctant to socialize in a short time with strangers, immediately found a perfect playmate and went in and out of the management room, he even had a check-out experience with a customer providing receipts and change :) and this for the entire duration of the holiday, a condition that would probably have unnerved and irritated even the most upright tourism professionals, demonstrating that behind the tidy uniform of a director there was first and foremost a good person, kind and helpful. And no less can be said about the entire staff, the waiters, the chef, the director's assistant, people with whom we entertained ourselves in the evening (especially on the two days of bad weather), chatting and making music. This is what concerns the part that I consider fundamental in a structure that welcomes guests. Let's now talk about the hotel and its services. The common area on the floor below is very spacious, with furniture in the style of the place where we were, a magnificent fireplace that heated the room properly, and many sofas, armchairs and tables distributed in the different rooms. The heating of the hotel as well as that of the rooms was regulated to perfection, with a temperature that gave comfort and never a feeling of too hot or too cold. The breakfast (and dinner) room was also very spacious and welcoming, as was the quality of the meals served: at dinner there was even a different menu for each evening and at Easter a special dinner. We were all very satisfied. Regarding the rooms, we stayed on the third floor in a room that was not very large but certainly very welcoming with a truly breathtaking view of the lake and mountains: the bed was naturally very comfortable. Be careful, no lift, but for us it wasn't a problem at all, on the contrary... it would certainly have taken away the magic from the whole environment. We will certainly return because I believe that welcoming experiences like those made with the staff of the Hotel Sorapiss are quite rare nowadays. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
