Boutique Hotel Skipass in Kranjska Gora was a truly charming stay, thanks in large part to the excellent, welcoming staff. The rooms were a nice size with balconies, and the beds and bath were very comfortable. The AC kept up impressively well during the heatwave. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, setting us up quickly at check-in and even letting us enjoy a bottle of champagne we'd brought with us in the restaurant area, happily providing glassware and everything we needed. They also have electric charging stations on site, which was handy for one of our plug-in hybrids. The setting is beautiful, with an easy walk to the center of town, the lake, and the river. There's also a convenient grocery store with an ATM just down the street. We only stayed one night, but slept extremely well and woke up feeling rejuvenated. Breakfast and service were of the highest quality, and the outdoor seating with mountain views was simply sublime. Service: 5
