A beautiful stay in Kras wine region. As soon as we arrived we felt relaxed and welcome. Unfortunately for us there was some rain but it just meant we had to play cards and read and use the pool whenever the sun came out (which it did). We stayed in a room with a fridge and small kitchenette which I would recommend as we went to a supermarket on the first day so we could make ourselves a charcuterie board and have the homemade wine. Other days we drove just 20 minutes to the Skocjan caves and 12 minutes to Stanjel, a cute little village. Dinner in restaurants in nearby Sezana and then back for more wine a cards! Wine is very reasonable and good quality to enjoy while sitting watching the sunset over the pool, beautiful! Breakfast was great, self service continental breakfast with fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, yogurts etc. A coffee machine you could use whenever you wanted and bacon and eggs if you wanted too! The only things I could recommend would maybe to have bottles of shower gel/shampoo in the rooms rather than sachets but maybe other people bring their own.
