We were here for the first time last night and paid 15Fr. Paid entry for a live concert and were extremely disappointed. The musicians had relatively good music but the sound system was absolutely not tuned. We sat at the bar with a view of the stage and only heard muffled sounds, as if the music was coming from the basement. The rear speaker wasn't even on, two employees were already there, aware of the problem. So there was no mood at all, because it sounded like muffled elevator music. My white wine spritzer consisted of 90% ice cubes and sparkling water. The room temperature was uncomfortably cold and there was a draft from the ventilation. I've never seen so many people putting their jackets and scarves back on in a club; it was very uncomfortable. The situation in the toilet is disgusting and unworthy of people (especially women). It was very disgusting, I held it back... It doesn't have to be that way, there are lots of cool and pleasant bars, clubs and restaurants in Basel. Price per person: CHF 60–70 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Actually an interesting place, BUT the smoking permit, and then also on the dance floor, is simply antiquated and expansive!
