Mangiare in terrazza con stupenda vista sul lago e la città è assolutamente magico. Il cibo servito è eccellente. Gli accostamenti dei sapori veramente azzeccati. Avrei gradito un po‘ di carne in più sul piatto. Ma a parte questo tutto perfetto. Anzi non perdetevi il beach bar per un aperitivo prima di cena. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 100+

Unfortunately, our experience at the restaurant started in a very disappointing way due to the attitude of Evelyn at the reception. When we arrived, there was no one at the reception desk. We walked a few steps inside, where a very kind waiter politely explained that we should wait by the entrance. As we were walking back, the hostess mentioned before approached us from behind and, in a rather rude manner, told us that we should never have walked in and that we were supposed to stay at the entrance and wait for her. We didn’t make an issue of it, although we had already been waiting for more than 10 minutes despite having a reservation. She then showed us the table assigned to us, which was in the middle of the terrace. I simply and politely asked whether it might be possible to have another table closer to the window. Her response was an immediate “No”, followed by telling us that if we did not want that table, we would have to pay CHF 130 per person because cancellations were not allowed. I was honestly shocked At no point had I said that we wanted to cancel our reservation I had simply asked whether another table might be available. The complete lack of empathy and the unnecessarily confrontational way she spoke to us immediately made us feel unwelcome. When I asked for her name, she replied, “My name is Evelyn and I’m going to cancel your reservation now.” Again, this was never what we had requested. We eventually went upstairs, which was actually where we had initially wanted to go, although we hadn’t realized it was called the Beach Club. The difference in service was remarkable. From the gentleman who welcomed us to the waiter who looked after us and was incredibly attentive to us and our little puppy, everyone was warm, professional and genuinely welcoming. It is such a shame that the restaurant has someone with such an unfriendly and confrontational attitude welcoming guests, because I am sure the food and the rest of the team are wonderful. However, when you are spoken to this way from the moment you arrive, it completely takes away any desire to sit down, enjoy the experience and spend your money there. Meal type: Dinner

I visited Restaurant Scala for lunch today and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch — warm, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. The food was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Each dish was thoughtfully presented, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. To top it all off, the views were absolutely stunning. Enjoying a relaxed lunch with such a spectacular backdrop made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and breathtaking views. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CHF 70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
