“Saurer Garten” is - nomen est omen - the outdoor bar that is part of the Saurer Museum and is in a prime location on the lake promenade in Arbon. The bar is simple but exudes a good atmosphere. You get a drink or snack from the bar cart, sit down at one of the old metal garden tables and simply enjoy the 180 degree view of Lake Constance. The melon cocktail with sparkling water is highly recommended, and there are also alcoholic drinks. Of course, an old Saurer post bus is also there and offers protection in the event of cloudbursts. It also serves as a playground for children. The service staff was very friendly and accommodating. The ideal place in Arbon to enjoy an aperitif when the weather is nice.
