My twin brother and I went to Lucca last week for a two day visit and were so excited for everything the beautiful, unique, breathtaking city has to offer! Our family friends mother grew up there and her first and most amazing recommendation was the Ristorante Cocktail Bar San Colombano, which is located right on the stunning wall of Lucca! We entered the restaurant as the sun was setting and the lights and outdoor patio vibes were so beautiful. They sat us at a table in the corner which gave us an amazing view of the local outdoor amphitheater, which was putting on a show, as well as the views of Lucca as a whole, which were so stunning. We chose to have the Land Five course tasting as well as the Tasting of Raw Fish and a bottle of wine that was perfectly paired by the in house sommelier! Every single bite just got better and better with all of the unique flavors and gorgeous presentation. Our favorite dishes were the risotto and pasta dishes as well as the most tender filet covered in sautéed spinach that was so so delicious! We were so elated with everything this restaurant had to offer and were also very pleased with the prices. Our waiter Walter was so kind and friendly and made us feel so welcomed during our entire stay, be sure to ask to sit in his area when you are there! :) We recommend this restaurant to all people visiting or living in Lucca, it was so lovely!!!
