I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the bar & café Sadara in Lancy, Geneva, Switzerland. A lovely spot inside Parc de la Bâtie where you can enjoy drinks and light snacks while taking in the surroundings. The park itself is beautiful, leading down to the junction of the Rhône and Arve rivers, with plenty of activities including a large playground for children and even a small animal park higher up. The drink selection here is surprisingly varied – from ginger juice (which I tried and found excellent) to good cappuccinos, local sodas, coconut water, and more. Service is very friendly, and you can sit at the tables provided to relax and enjoy the view. When I visited, I was lucky enough to catch a traveling art biennale set up in the park, which added a magical atmosphere to the experience. All in all, a great place to stop, recharge, and enjoy as part of a visit to this unique Geneva park. Highly recommended. Price per person: CHF 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
