Excellent experience at Vinoteca Salvisweine ! We spent a wonderful evening with friends enjoying an exceptional Italian wine tasting in a very cozy and elegant atmosphere. The selection was outstanding: from Prosecco to a superb range of white and red wines, all perfectly paired with authentic Italian cheeses, cured meats and pasta. We finished with top-tier Italian Brandy and Grappa. Noah is an excellent sommelier, highly ranked in international competitions. His expertise and passion made the tasting truly memorable for our group, and his hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fine wines and premium Italian spirits. We will definitely be back!

The wine here is absolutely stellar, and I had a great time. My partner and I didn't have many plans in Basel, so we ended up wandering and we found this wine bar on google maps. There was a large group already seated inside, so they allowed us to sit on the patio where it was a little secluded from their noise, and pretty. We got some recommendations from the server, and we found that the wine quality here is better than wine at all of the wine bars we went to in Rome (we went to around 5). The white wines were especially spectacular, the Timorasso was especially spectactular, even more floral than Malvasia from Slovenia. They also had a Viognier that had the most interesting mouthfeel. It's clear that they import wine with lots of care and love, and I wouldn't hesitate to trust their judgement. I wish this wine bar was in my neighborhood in America, but we took a few bottles home so we could enjoy their selection at home. Go, you won't be disappointed!
