16 euros for a cappuccino which is extremely expensive. It says 4 euros inside the restaurant but it does not say anywhere that it will cost nearly three times as much to sit in the outdoor section. I raised it with the waitor who could not understand why it needs to be written somewhere so that customers are informed of what it costs to sit outside. I was met with a lot of resistance by the waitor who could not understand why it should be written. Not coming back again. 16 euros for a tiny cup of cappuccino is not acceptable. To say that there are different prices inside and outdoors without writing it on the wall or something is very unprofessional. We are in Europe, not in a third world country! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: €10–20

For a fine dining experience, Ristorante Quadri’s quality of food was just average. We had the three act tasting menu - first act was fine but the second and third courses fell flat. Service and setting was great, but for the price of the overall experience (€550 for two, including wine), the food really did not meet expectations. It seems the restaurant leans heavily on its location at St Marks Square but otherwise, there are many other local restaurants in Venice worth eating at if you care about quality of your meal.
