We are visiting Trieste and enjoyed our first meal so much we returned again the next day! The service was great and we appreciated both of our servers speaking English for us. We absolutely loved the wood fired pizza which had one of the best bases we’ve ever tasted. Also loved the prosciutto with buffalo mozzarella dish - so fresh, tasty and generously proportioned. Loved the terrace outside. Highly recommended! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was quite good, but the service was bad. The lady that served us (besides the fact that she spoke very little English) was practically throwing plates on the table. In general staff seemed angry (except from a very polite guy with glasses who was the only one that spoke English too). The lady serving us brought a dish we hadn’t ordered and insisted it was ours and since no one would take it she just left it on the table in front of someone. Two mins after , her colleague came and said the dish was for another table and he took it to them. The food was tasty though and the environment was nice Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

On behalf of everyone, I apologize for any inconvenience caused. I'm sure there was a moment of speed. Not being able to speak English well doesn't mean that the service can be better or worse. Absolutely, the language barrier should never be judged.
