This restaurant was a scam. The waitress changed the prices on the bill compared to the menu. She told us her card reading machine was broken. After reading the reviews here, they just don’t accept cards but don’t inform you in advance. I would recommend staying away from here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €90–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Avoid this restaurant if you go to Assisi - Antichi Sapori. My daughter wanted pizza so we stopped here. I figured we could share a pizza. The waitress refused to let us share, told us it was not allowed, against the rules. So we sucked it up and ordered 2 cheese pizzas at (if memory serves me) 12 euros each. While we were waiting for our food, the family of 4 beside us went to pay and she told them no credit cards, cash only. There were no signs posted, nothing on the menus about it. She made a huge scene and told one of the adults to come inside to sort it out. The woman was in there for a very long time. The pizza was very bland and dry and neither of us were able to eat even half our pizza. When normally my daughter can eat a pizza that size by herself. After our pizza arrived and another group was seated beside us. 4 adults and they ordered 2 meals and shared. It was the same waitress and she offered them no argument. Just took their order and brought them the food and let them share. I looked at online reviews after we got back and it looks like they consistently offer bad service. There are so many restaurants there to choose from, skip this one. We travelled italy and greece for 10 days and this was the ONLY business where staff were unfriendly, indifferent and, we feel tried to take advantage of tourists. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
