We went in Auguest 2021 and even if it was summer it was quite chilly up here. Our windbreakers were not enough. I wish we had some sweaters to layer coz it's cold at the very top. It's a self service cafeteria so we did not expect much. We had coffee and cakes and they were quite yummy. There is no real service here. It was so nice to sit outside with the view. But again dress not just for the temperature, but also for the winds. Because we were with my 80+ yo in-laws, we took the elevator of the hotel to go up. However if you are fit, hiking up is okay. I have asthma and I definitely needed my inhalers. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Other Parking options: Parking is unavailable Parking: You get here by cablecar or cogwheel train. there is not parking. Kid-friendliness: My son loved the cakes and chocolate mallows. Wheelchair accessibility: I am not sure if this place is recommended for people in wheelchairs because of the steep mountain hikes.

We stopped by Rigi Bistro during our trip to Mount Rigi last week. After getting off the train, we were seriously hungry, spotted this bistro right away, and went straight in for a meal. The interiors were really nice, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The outdoor view was especially beautiful, looking out over the snow-covered Swiss Alps. After going through the menu, here’s what we ordered along with our ratings: Chicken Nuggets with Pommes Frites: 5/5. Hot Panini Tomato Mozzarella: 4.5/5 Both dishes were excellent and very satisfying. We enjoyed the food a lot, and the service was friendly and efficient as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: CHF 10–20 Vegetarian options: Veg options available but limited Parking space: Not sure Parking options: Parking is unavailable Parking: No parking Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
