We stayed one night at Marko’s house, and he highly recommended this place for breakfast. It was an amazing choice! They offer an all-you-can-eat buffet, and we paid €30 for two people, which was great value. Everything was perfect; the food selection was complete and delicious, the restaurant was beautiful and spotless, and the owner and staff were incredibly welcoming. We are Iranians living in Germany, and we highly recommend this gem near Plitvice! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Better to go to Lička Kuća (walk via Lakes car park), or Petar’s Restaurant (need to drive). You can get better quality food for the same of less cost. Food here was quite hit and miss, and also overpriced. Some of the food was very nice The grilled fish was very nice The tomato “daily soup” (aka Soup of the day) had small bits of semi-circular pasta, which made me think it was a partially blended tin of spaghetti hoops. The soup itself tasted ok, but perhaps more sweet and less tomatoey than I was expecting. The “lasagne with sour cream” was a strange idea. The ragu (tomato based sauce) was almost entirely replaced with a seemingly sour cream based sauce, and there was very little meat. I couldn’t finish it. The owner and other staff are very friendly and nice to talk to, but I feel like they are not putting in enough effort on the quality of the food, because they have many customers who are just in the area temporarily. Very kind people. Maybe off season but I don’t think they have a real chef due to slow time. Tastes very homemade but very expensive compared to neighboring restaurants that were much better. Maybe off day due to high ratings. Bolognese was particularly bad. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
