We had a lovely, home cooked local meal here while staying in a nearby guesthouse. We tried the goulash and the bean stew. Both were absolutely delicious and generous portions - the goulash had plenty of meat in. Washed down nicely with some good draft beer. The waiter was polite and friendly. Highly recommend! I feel like this should be a 4.8! Currently it’s only a 4.6 so I shall do my part. Goulash had plentiful of meat and good flavour. Much of the food I’ve had in Croatia and Eastern Europe as been rather salty, it was pleasurable to actually taste something not too salty. Tomato soup which was the soup of the day was lovely as well. Coupled with the bread it made it a nice heart homely meal. The location is quaint, away from traffic and delivered a feeling of being at home; as if you went to your grandma’s place for dinner. Beer from the tap was great too. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal! Amazing. Great service, good food. Very cosy restaurant serving a variety of mains. We had the Goulash pasta, a soup with bread. Goulash pasta came with generous amounts of meat and is not overly salted (I find Croatian food very salty). Recommend the Goulash pasta!
