5 stars for the staff but minus 5 for the host. Surprisingly pleasant room, good food, and delightful service staff. But the host turned from offering a genial welcome to being a cold defensive boor when we announced being injured on the stairway to the toilet. No graciousness or offer of help, he said only it was my fault for not paying attention. I iced my forehead and made the best of it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CHF 30–40 Food: 4 Atmosphere: 4

In high season the restaurant is closed! It's probably a bad joke!! Paid 400 CHF for the ride up the mountain. This is almost criminal for Zermatt.

The restaurant vis-a-vis is a small but warm restaurant, surrounded by snow mountains. The dinner time reserves to the hotel guess only.
