This establishment is absolutely not recommended. Service not up to par. Low level cuisine too much thanks to overcooked fish. The price is too high for poor quality. I won't go back there again. We have been going to this establishment's restaurant for over 20 years. Today, we have never been so disappointed with a restaurant. Far from us being difficult, however we waited 3/4 of an hour for the starter to be served to us. We all took the "duos" peaches for a table of 8. Almost 3/4 to get the first plate and once finished we had to wait 3/4 of an hour to get the next one. The staff were overwhelmed, smiling and did their best to accommodate us. But the new boss really needs to question himself. We emphasize the fact that IF the plates left assembled in the kitchen, they would never have been as cold as today. Not only was the service done at the table on hotplates where there was already not much space... but 1 server served us 1 to 1. Needless to say, we ate cold. - A forgotten dessert... but nice... (We had to ask for it) - A bottle placed on our table and a waiter who never came to open it for us afterwards.. (We had to ask.) When you pay to eat in a restaurant, it's to have a relaxing time with decent service. Unfortunately this was not the case. The servers were very friendly but seemed genuinely overwhelmed... We will probably choose another restaurant for the next 20 years.

I stayed at the Hotel Restaurant de la Plage one night for a business trip to Gland. I loved the proximity and the direct view on the lake of Geneva at a few meters, the service on the phone of the person in charge and the great welcome and breakfast in the morning, served with good mood, in spite of the restaurant being closed. As for the price, the hotel is simply the best value for money in Gland. I will come back again! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: CHF 100+ Service: 5
