This is a very unique little pub. Literally, it seems like everyone who comes in is a local who knows each other. When you order a beer (biggest beer mug I've ever seen!) everyone in the bar will toast you. The menu is a simple, handwritten affair that outlines the half dozen dishes offered. It feels like having dinner with your grandparents cooking for you. Great fun! HOWEVER, if smoking bothers you, this is not the place for you! Literally everyone in the bar (including the owners) will probably light up at some point, including the 84 year old lady seated next to me. The place oozes character, seems to have a loyal set of patrons that have been coming here, literally for decades. It's probably the most interesting place I've dined in Switzerland, but it isn't for everyone. Simple little restaurant & bar, family run where the owners are sitting chatting to customers when not cooking your meal. Decor has not changed for decades but is cosy and immaculate. Small and typical menu, well cooked and served. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
