A true culinary gem in the heart of Chur. Yaal Restaurant brings the 'Tamil soul' to the Alps with some of the most authentic South Indian and Sri Lankan flavors I’ve encountered in Switzerland. I highly recommend the Kothu Roti—the balance of spices was exceptional and the texture of the hand-chopped flatbread was perfect. The Biryani is also a standout, served traditionally and packed with aromatic saffron and spices. Beyond the food, the service is genuinely warm and attentive, making the cozy atmosphere feel like a home-away-from-home. Owner is extremely courteous and caring.
