Mangiare qui la curatissima fonduta di formaggio è una piacevole esperienza. Dicono che il personale sia amichevole in questo posto. Nonostante la popolarità di cui gode tra i clienti, punto debole di questo ristorante è l'encomiabile servizio. Qui pagherai prezzi ottimi. Ti piacerà certamente l'ambiente simpatico. Deliziosa fondue e accogliente atmosfera da swiss chalet. divertentissimo il rientro in slittino. da ripetere.

We came here based on a recommendation and were really looking forward to a cozy evening with traditional Swiss cheese fondue. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the most unpleasant restaurant experiences we have ever had. From the moment we entered, we were greeted in a very cold and suspicious manner by the waitress – who was likely also the owner. Instead of a welcome, we were immediately told in a strict tone that we should not have driven up the road to the restaurant because it is a private road, and that it would not be her responsibility if we received a fine. However, this is not clearly indicated anywhere. The website contains almost no information, and along the access road there is no clear indication that guests are not allowed to use it. We simply followed the navigation. We were also visiting with our one-and-a-half-year-old son. He too was scrutinized when we entered. When we asked for a high chair, the waitress responded with accusatory looks and the comment: “I don’t know if he would even still fit in our high chair.” The tone throughout was passive-aggressive and felt more like being reprimanded than welcomed as guests. After briefly discussing the situation, we decided to leave the restaurant because the atmosphere was already extremely uncomfortable. When we informed her, the only response was a snappy question asking whether our reservation was now “cancelled,” followed by dismissive noises and hissing. As we left, the woman even came out of the restaurant behind us and watched us outside. The entire situation felt surreal and, in a way, even somewhat threatening. We were honestly shocked by how unfriendly and dismissive the reception was. An evening we had been looking forward to was essentially ruined the moment we walked in. Looking back, we now understand the many critical Google reviews much better. Very unfortunate – we truly expected a completely different experience and at least a bit of the famous Swiss hospitality. Service: 1
