Wonderful dinner of authentic Swiss cuisine in the small town of Thusis. If you are into game in season then this is the place. The deer meat is intensively prepared, marinated and cooked. The schnitzels we had were pounded on the premises, breaded and fried with al dente cooked vegetables, and pommes frites to accompany the meal. The salad we ordered was very fresh. The only downside would be that the table wine is good but half a caraf of 500 ml is a bit pricy (€32). But the friendly son who serves the food makes up for the downside.

We ate at Schafli before our grand via Spluga trek and it was a great experience The food is a combination of typical Swiss cuisine with a side menu of Spanish tapas food. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming and homely
